The goal of this reaserch is to verify the Person-centered art therapy an impact on for the ankylosing spondyltis patient depression and self-esteem. In this study, Person-centered art therapy program, 11 sessions were conducted.A test subject is 27 years old man. Who is diagnosed as an rare and incurable disease which is called ankylosing spondyltis. The study of qualitative and quantitative analysis over the program. The results of the verification first, the Person-centered art therapy decreased the exposed depression of the ankylosing spondyltis patient, second, the Person-centered art therapy improved the shown self-esteem of the ankylosing spondyltis patient. Consequently, the conclusion of this case study, the depression which the patient felt in the early days was healed up. And when the self respect feeling was improved, the patient became confident. The physical pain was still remain to the patient however became to accept the situation and be hopeful. According to the result, the Person-centered art therapy affirmative impact on the depression and self-esteem of the ankylosing spondyltis patient.
