"This paper compared the narrating method and the consciousness between the story and the song about sizipsari(the hard married life). I searched it focusing on the circumstances of oral performance and the narrating method of the actual narrative, the narrative song and the fictional narrative. The suffering from sizipsari expressed in these three oral narrative genres are very similar. They have differences in the narrating method and the ending structure, even though they began from same conflict and problem. Moreover, they show the different consciousness of a narrator and a tradition group in a version or the genre.
The actual narrative depicts the women's reality, on the contrary, the fictional narrative describes the fiction. The narrative song has the intermediary characteristic of reality and fiction. The actual narrative repeats the sufferings from sizipsari by arranging episodes. On the contrary, the fictional narrative and the narrative song develop an event of sufferings from sizipsari.
The actual narrative and the narrative song have the closed characteristic, because they are only performed between women in the same circumstances. However, the fictional narrative have the open characteristic, because they are performed in various groups. The former express the reality and the consciousness of women suffering from sizipsari. The Latter shows the various consciousness according to the narrator and the group. The actual narrative and the narrative song have the critical attitude to the sizipsari. However, the actual narrative is fatalistic, but the narrative song is anti-fatalistic. The fictional narrative shows the consciousness that sizipsari is a matter of course and it depends on a daughter-in-law.
