"This study was to analyze early childhood teacher's image and role performance according to the level of teaching efficacy. The subjects were 196 of teachers in G city. 3 Questionaire were distributed the subjects of this study; Teaching efficacy, early childhood teacher's image and role performance. Data collected through the survey were analyzed with one-way ANOVA and Scheffe. The results were as follows: First, it revealed that there was significant different to total early childhood teacher's image and all sub factors. Second, also, there was significant different to total teacher's role performance and all sub factors. In conclusion, the level of teaching efficacy had an effect on forming early childhood teacher's image and role performance. These findings suggest that it is necessary to develop the high quality teacher teaching program for promoting teaching efficacy. Eventually, it is expected to improve teachers' professionality.
