The purpose of this study is to analyze differences of recognition of the importance on the vocational education of special class teachers in high school by school type, school location, and in-service education. To achieve this purpose, questions were established what differences exist for Importance on the vocational education of special class teachers in high school by school type, school location, and in-service education?
In order to find the answers to the above questions, this study surveyed a recognition of the importance on the vocational education of 144 special class teachers in 99 high schools. The data was analyzed by ANOVA. The results of this study are as follows;
First, recognition of the importance on the vocational education of special class teachers in high school is higher in the vocational high schools teachers than academic high school teachers.
Second, recognition of the importance on the vocational education of special class teachers in high school is higher in the metropolis teachers than small cities teachers.
Third, recognition of the importance on the vocational education of special class teachers in high school is higher in teachers who received in-service education than teachers who didn’t receive it.
Therefore, recognition of the importance on the vocational education of special class teachers in high school are higher in the vocational high schools teachers than academic high school teachers, in the metropolis teachers than small cities teachers and in teachers who received in-service education than teachers who didn’t receive it.
