Objective : This study aimed at analyzing occupational goal activities consistent with the general and functional status and level of participation in stoke patients. Methods : This study evaluated the general and functional status and level of participation of stroke patients, and interviews were conducted to ask them about what goal activity they want to participate in. The frequencies of the goal activities based on each patient’s general, functional, and participating level were analyzed and classified based on their occupation. Results : Based on gender, the most desired goal activity was driving for male patients and preparing a meal for female patients. Based on the affected sides, the most desired goal activity was using chopsticks for right-side affected patients, and preparing a meal for left-side affected patients. Based on the level of dependency, the most desired goal activity was driving for patients with a low dependency level and toilet use and functional ambulation for patients with a high dependency level. The most desired activity was using public transportation for patients who have a high level of participation in activities of daily living, gardening for patients who have a high level of participation in social activities, and driving for patients who have high level of participation in leisure activities. Conclusion : This study was conducted to provide basic information that can be used to set goals in occupational therapy by analyzing the occupational goals for each of the patients based on their general and functional status and level of participation.
