목적 : 작업치료가 지적 장애 아동 및 청소년의 ADL과 참여에 미치는 효과에 대한 문헌고찰을 통해 지적 장애 아동을 위한 효과적인 중재와 치료의 근거를 마련하고자 한다. 연구방법 : Pubmed, Medline, KISS, RISS 등을 사용하여 2008년부터 2019년 사이에 출판된 논문을 검 색했다. 주요 검색어로 ‘intellectual disability’, ‘intervention’, ‘activity of daily living’을 사용하였고, 총 9편의 국내외 논문을 선정했다. 결과 : 연구에는 지역사회 기반 작업치료, 전산화 인지 프로그램, Co-PID와 같은 다양한 방법의 중재가 사용되었으며, 모든 중재는 ADL 또는 참여 향상에 유의미한 효과가 있었다. ADL 영역에서는 의사소통 기술, 작업수행기술, 식사 기술, 시지각 기술, 사회행동기술, 시간관리 기술 등에 유의미한 효과를 보였 다. 참여 영역에서는 의사소통, 선택하기, 학교관련 참여기술을 증진시켰다. 결론 : 본 연구에서는 지적장애 아동 및 청소년의 일상생활활동과 참여 수준을 향상시킨 작업치료 분야의 유의미한 중재들을 제시했다. 향후 연구의 질적 수준과 변수의 다양성을 고려하면서 지적장애 아동 및 청소년의 재활 중재를 위한 깊이 있는 연구가 더 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다.
Objection: The purpose of this study was to provide basic data on the interventions and treatment for children and adolescents with Intellectual Disabilities (ID) through a systematic literature review. Methods: PubMed, Medline, RISS, and KISS were used to search for papers published between 2008 and 2019. The key words were [ID OR mental retardation] AND [Activity of Daily Living (ADL)] OR participation OR relationship OR social] AND intervention. A total of 9 papers were used in this analysis. Results: Various kinds of interventions showed a significant effect on improving the ADL or participation. Skills such as communication, occupational performance, meal activity, visual perception, social behavior, and time-management showed significant effects in the field of ADL. The skills of communication, selection, and school-related participation were improved in the area of participation. Conclusion: This study presented significant interventions related with ADL and the participation of children and adolescents with ID. However, further studies when considering the research quality and diversity will be necessary to target children and adolescents with ID.
