"In care-welfare, the elder long-term medical treatment care has become important project in recent days. The long-term medical treatment care is called as the system which includes the living facility, service, and assistant for the people who can't care themselves because of weakness, chronical disease, and disable. The U.S Assembly report defined the long-term medical treatment service as the kind of resource which include rehabilitation, medical, and social for the people who need continual health protection and normal life. This paper investigated the aim and function of medical treatment care task, service, institution and education curriculum for medical treatment nurse. Based on this investigation, this study aims to find the systematic development plan rather than the Korean medical treatment nurse education as grasped the problem and the recent situation.
