\"외국인의 국내 거주 수의 급증으로 인해 사회가 급속히 다인종․ 다문화사회로 진전되어감에 따라 인종적․문화적 소수자의 적응과 통합이라는 새로운 과제를 안게 되었다. 현행 결혼이민자 관련 법제들은 결혼이민자와 그 자녀를 단순히 시혜의 대상 내지 동화의 대상으로만 여기고 있을 뿐 여전히 그들에 대해 경직된 자세로 일관하고 있어 문제가 아닐 수 없다. 이에 대해 먼저 다문화관련법에 동화 및 통합의 시각에서 다문화주의적 시각이 반영된 내용이 추가되어야 하며 다문화사회참여 촉구와 인력활용 등을 통해 다문화에 대한 시각의 전환이 필요하다. 또한 체계적, 통합적 다문화가족 지원정책을 추진하고 차별화된 맞춤형 다문화가족 지원정책을 수립하여야 한다. 이에 본 논문은 사례 중심으로 질적연구 즉 귀납법에 바탕을 두어 분석 연구하였다.\"
"As Korean society has rushed to its way to multiracial․ multicultural society owing to the rapid increase of foreigner residents, we came to have new task of adaptation and embracement of multiracial․ multicultural minority. It could be a problem that current rules and regulations related to the marriage immigrants and their children consistently had adhered to inflexible attitude toward them considering them as just recipient of social benefits and object to bee assimilated. The multicultural standpoint should be reflected in the multicultural related rules and laws and it is also essential that we change way of thinking about multiculturalism through encouraging participation in multicultural activities and best use of multiracial manpower. In addition to that, we have to build systematic and integrated policies to support multicultural families that differentiated and customized by each family. This is to analyze the effects and remedial measures of Multicultural Families Support Act on the base of quality study, an inductive method focusing cases.
