본 연구는 유아를 대상으로 명화에 기초한 도형활동(조형활동, 수학활동, 신체활동)이 유아의 기하 개 념 및 수학적 태도에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 전북 I시에 소재한 S 유치 원의 만 5세 2학급의 유아를 대상으로 선정하여 실험집단은 16명, 통제집단 16명으로 나누었다. 실험 집단에게 대그룹 시간에 명화를 감상하게 한 후, 소그룹으로 명화에 기초한 도형활동을 8주간 실시하 였다. 연구결과, 명화에 기초한 도형활동은 유아의 기하개념 및 수학적 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치 는 것으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of Geometry activity(art activity, math activity, physical movement) based on a masterpiece regarding young children's geometric concept and mathematic attitude. The subjects of this study were 32 five-year-old children enrolled in two classes of S kindergarten in I city in Jellabuk-do. These children were equally divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group of 16 young children. For the children in the experimental group, the Geometry activities based on a masterpiece were applied for 8 weeks. According to this study, it was found that Geometry activity based on a masterpiece produced positive effects in terms of children's geometric concept and the mathematic attitude.
