The study has an object for the investigation on the current state of educational environments for the university entrance examination, the state of the special screening process for the special education recipient, the Investigation for the students’ satisfaction of physical environments and the other supports carrying out the government-sponsored scholastic aptitude test, and the improving ways of the support system to get into university for the visually impaired students by Types of gender, disability, admission process, departments of applicants, time of blindness. To sum up the conclusion of the study, it is as in the following.
First, according to the private education, the satisfaction of female students were higher than of the male. About the entrance consultations and information provisions by teachers, the applicants for the special screening process were more satisfied than for the general process. And the former were very satisfied with the supplementary lessons than the latter.
Second, submitting applications to select the standards for the special screening process, totally blind students prefered particular majors. On the other hand, low-vision students prefered the university autonomy.
Third, examining the physical environments and the support system for the government-sponsored scholastic aptitude test, the applicants for the general process were more satisfied with the sound installation of examination halls than for the special screening process, In case of totally blind students. According to the indoor temperature of examination halls, the satisfaction of the applicants for humanities departments were highest, the next for engineering departments, and the last for arts and physical departments. About the length of the examination, the satisfaction of the applicants for arts and physical departments were low, the next for engineering departments, and the last ones for humanities departments were lowest. In relation to the recording tape provision, the satisfaction of the applicants for humanities
departments were highest, the next for arts and physical departments, and the last for engineering departments. In case of low-vision students, about desk standards of examination halls, the satisfaction of the applicants for engineering departments were highest, the next for arts and physical departments, and the last for humanities departments. According to the sound installation of examination halls, the satisfaction of male students were higher than the female.
Fourth, according to the answers of totally blind students on physical environments holding the government-sponsored scholastic aptitude test, it is obvious that the government has to improve by providing informationization equipments. The applicants for engineering departments answered a lot just like that, the next for humanities departments, and the last for arts and physical departments. Examining the improving ways of the special screening process for the special education recipient, they replied that each universities had to establish reasonable standards. The applicants for the special screening process answered a lot about it than for the general process. The improving ways of the support system for the visually impaired to get into university is to provide assistant engineering equipments, and to adjust the length of the examination reasonably holding the government-sponsored scholastic aptitude test.
