This study aimed to compare the self aware executive function difficulty and school adjustment in Children. Recently lots of studies reported the significant relationship between executive function and academic achievement. Subjects were elementary school students in 5th grade and 6th grade (N=226, 51.9% male). For measurements, self reporting executive function scale (Song, 2010) and School Adjustment Scale (Lee & Kim, 2008) were used. In the results, executive function\'s explanatory power was 30.9% in elementary school group, the ‘planing and organizing’ variable showed the highest explanatory power among the 5 subvariables of executive function. In Conclusion, executive function was proved to be very influential variable in the school adjustment of elementary school students.
