This text is to introduce the teaching experience of an elementary physical education master teacher and its
definition. For this, mister Ahn, who is a master teacher, and the leader of the nation-wide elementary master
teachers’ committee, reminisced his emotions towards the educational work he underwent for four years and
the meaning of it. The method of study is based on Clandinin and Connelly (2000)’s narrative research system.
This text was collected from March to October, 2011. Ahn and I met around 30 hours for these seven months.
The meeting applied Werner and Schoepfle(1987)’s casual chain analysis method. His experience analyzed the
text and produced the subject, according to Spradley’s(1980) theory. Based on the results of the study, Ahn
was pleased to be a master teacher, and his happiness has doubled ever since legalization. However, it was
because of his expectations to normalize the Physical Education. Yet, he was upset since the physical education
classes were abnormally conducted. He is, especially, depressed due to the school teachers who drag master
teachers’ feet. Meanwhile, he is happy because there are students out there who enjoy the physical education.
And he believes, one day, the whole education will be realized through the physical education.
