This research is based on the case study utilizing educational drama methodology focusing on the construction process rather than the system. The program based on educational drama methodology was designed for the marriage immigrant women to voluntarily experience various cultures and for their individual choice of culture to form the common group thinking. During the research process, the marriage immigrant women exhibited symptoms of anxiety due to their limited language ability and difficulty with cultural adjustment. Their children suffered from the lack of social skills and identity confusion due to their perception of being “different” from their peers. Based on this understanding, the goal of the program was to educate them about the socialization process for social survival. The education was consisted of a presentation of "One’s Own Book Making" with the theme of "Story Making" utilizing Educational Drama methodology. The program tried to incorporate the effect of catharsis of purification of play, to bring out the spirit of community by understanding others and form the bond of empathy through group work, to improve self-esteem by finding one's ability through creative process of book making, and to enjoy the esthetic experience. To apply education play methodology which is expected to brings about the individual's inner change and build-up of social skills, multicutural families who can be easily overlooked were selected due to the possibility that the program might facilitate their social and emotional growth. The program was consisted of 10 sessions and included theatre therapy, puppet show, and lectures. The survey on 16 participating families resulted that over 90% of the participants were very satisfied with the program. It is urgent to create the policies to help people to adapt to and keep the pace of multicutural society. It is also necessary to design cultural policies that meet the needs of multicutural families.
