A case study is designed applying the constructivism education utilizing the
digital-object method in the museum. As a result, a new educational system that is linked
to both museum and school is suggested by analyzing the satisfaction and effectiveness of
learning. For this, the study’s constructivism-based instruction development course is
developed with the guidance of 2 constructivism specialists, 2 museum specialists, and 1
instruction advisor. The lesson plan mentioned above is applied to 23 4th graders for 2
weeks in November 2011 in 4 separate periods. As an evaluation tool, a self-evaluation
journal, a questionnaire, and a teacher-student interview were used to measure the
satisfaction and effectiveness of learning. As a result, the participants showed high
satisfaction and the instructional goal was met in terms of effectiveness as well as the
essential objective of the teaching was fulfilled.
