본 연구는 ‘기업교육’이 혼돈과 질서의 역동적 작용을 특징으로 하는 ‘복잡계’를 논리적으로 가정하면서, ‘지식의 중층구조’에 따른다는 것을 이해하는데 그 목적이 있다. 자연과학의 연구 성과에 주로 의존하는 복잡계는, ‘자연현상’이 아닌 ‘인간현상’의 고유한 변화 논리를 포함하지 못하는 한계를 노정한다. 이에 기업에서 ‘인간 고유의 변화’를 설명하는 ‘기업교육’과의 연계가 불가결하게 요구된다. 기존의 기업교육이 성과창출을 위한 전략적 도구로서 간주되었다면, ‘인간 고유의 변화’를 전제로 한 기업교육은 ‘기업 활동을 하는데 있어서 반드시 갖추고 있다고 밖에 볼 수 없는 지식(행위전통)을 획득하는 과정’이며, 거기에는 혼돈 속에서 질서를 찾아가는 복잡계의 성격이 논리적으로 가정되어 있다고 본다. 복잡계를 논리적으로 가정하는 기업교육의 개념을 본 논문에서는 ‘기업교육 복잡계’라고 명명하면서, 이는 혼돈을 나타내는 현상적 지식과 그에 질서를 부여하는 묵시적 지식의 관계로서 ‘지식의 중층구조’를 따른다고 주장하였다. Oakeshott(1962),Polanyi(1958), 이홍우(2000) 등이 주장한 지식의 중층구조 논의를 살펴보면서, 지식의 중충구조에 따른 기업교육 복잡계의 개념적 모델을 마지막으로 제시하였다.
The aim of this paper is to have understanding about the complex system of corporate education in view of the twofold structure of knowledge. This paper posits that the nature of the complex system, which shows essentially the dynamic interaction between chaos and order, is regarded as the presupposition of corporate education, thereby it draws the concept of \'the complex system of corporate education\'. In the complex system of corporate education, corporate education is not just a strategic means for performance improvement, but the process of the internalization of knowledge(a tradition of behaviors) which is indispensable to the corporate activities related to the change peculiar to ‘Human’. To better understand the relation between the chaotic phenomena and the unemancipated order in the complex system of corporate education, the authors suggest the idea of ‘the twofold structure of knowledge’. As a result of literature reviews related the twofold structure of knowledge(Lee, 2000;Oakeshott, 1962; Polanyi, 1958) as well as the nature of complex system(Stacey, Griffin & Shaw, 2000), this paper proposes the conceptual framework of the complex system of corporate education according to the twofold structure of knowledge.
