본 연구의 목적은 저시력 시각장애인이 효과적으로 컴퓨터에 접근할 수 있도록 하는 화면확대 프로그램을 개발하는 것이다. 본 개발 소프트웨어는 윈도우즈를 기반으로 하는 모든 응용프로그램에서 구동이 가능하며, 유저의 편의를 위한 다양한 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하고 있다. 주요 기능으로는 2배 - 16배 확대,라우팅, 반전기능, 트래킹, 보정기능, 텍스트리더 등이 있다. 본 연구개발에 적용된 화면확대 구현 기술은 향 후 시각장애인용 인터페이스를 개발하는데 좋은 지식 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
The purpose of this paper is to develop computer screen magnification program for people with low vision to effectively use computers. The software developed is compatible with every applied program based on Windows. It also provides various interfaces to enhance the user\'s needs. Main functions include - 2× to 16× magnification, routing, color filtering, tracking, edge smoothing, text reading etc. The magnification technology used in this study will be a good reference in developing interface for people with visual impairment in the future.
