The study was conducted to explore Bethel house, known as the world s unique alternative to the mentally challenged, from the perspective of an innovative social welfare program. Specifically, Bethel tried to establish how the Bethel house program relates to the services of the mentally challenged and is an innovative social welfare program in some ways. The study methods collected and analyzed the data through local visit surveys and literature surveys.
