As the importance of teachers competencies is emphasized, and the interest in the educational use of technology has increased, research on Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) competency has been highlighted in recent years. The purpose of this study is to analyze the actual use of technology for singing education, which is covered the most in school music education and the TPACK competency of teachers. For this purpose, we performed the theoretical review about signing education and TPACK, and developed a survey tool based on this to conduct a survey.
The results of the analysis of the survey showed that technology is rarely used or effective or effective use is not achieved in signing education. Teachers recognized that their PCK competence was high, but PCK competence was somewhat lacking in detail. It was also found that TCK competency is very low as knowledge to understand and utilize effective technologies for signing education. It is judged that various efforts are needed to enhance these competencies.
