본 연구는 창의적 사고도구를 활용한 푸드아트(Food-Art) 활동이 유아의 창의성과 그리기표상능력에 어떠한 효과가 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 부산광역시의 S어린이집과 B어린이집에 재원중인 만 4, 5세 혼합반 유아 총 46명(실험집단: 23명, 비교집단: 23명)이다. 8주간 총 21회기에 걸쳐 실험집단은 창의적 사고도구를 활용한 푸드아트(Food-Art) 활동에 참여하였고, 비교집단은 누리과정의 활동주제에 따라 활동이 이루어졌다. TTCT 도형검사와 그리기표상능력 검사 도구를 사용하여 자료를 수집하였고, 수집된 자료는 공분산 분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 창의적 사고도구를 활용한 푸드아트(Food-Art) 활동이 유아의 창의성과 그리기표상능력에 효과가 있다고 나타났다. 따라서 푸드아트(Food-Art) 활동에 창의적 사고도구를 활용한 구체적이고 다양한 교수-학습 방법이 제시되어 진다면 교육현장에서 보다 활발하게 활용되어질 수 있음을 시사한다.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of food-art activities using creative thinking tools on young children’s creativity and drawing representation ability. A total of 46 young children who attended a daycare center in Busan participated in this study. The experimental group participated in a food-art activity using creative thinking tools while the comparison group participated in the Nuri curriculum theme-based activities. The instruments used to evaluate the young children’s creativity and drawing representation abilities were the TTCT and the drawing representation abilities evaluation scale. Data were analyzed by ANCOVA. Results showed that food-art activity using creative thinking tools are effective in children’s creativity and drawing representation ability. The results suggest that food-art activities using creative thinking tools may be more effective than traditional activities for young children’s creativity and drawing representation abilities.
