The purpose of this study is to discuss the contents and implementation of the Logic and Writing in home economics education course, which is one of the required subjects in college of education. First, we reviewed related studies, such as Logic and Writing courses at other majors, writing courses using creative thinking skills and debate process. We present the contents and teaching methods of a course that took place in K university's college of education in Seoul. We then discuss the ways to improve the effectiveness of the course. The courses consisted of activities that promoted creative thinking skills, presentations, debates, various types of writing tasks, and spelling quizzes. We expect that the study will contribute to improving the effectiveness of the course and assist prospective teachers to acquire teaching methods that promote creative and logical thinking.
