The purpose of this study is to explore severe conflicts and struggles of working women in combining infertility treatment and work. Qualitative methodologies were used; semi-structured in-depth interviews and documents with 4 participants. Data was collected between November of 2018 and February of 2019 and analyzed using analytic induction and thematic analysis. As for the results, the main theme were analyzed into ‘exhausted mind’, ‘estranged relationships’, ‘tough balancing treatment and work’, ‘continuous and hopeless attempts of infertility treatments without certainty of successful pregnancy’. Adaptive strategies and practical considerations were discussed, and implications for future research were identified.
