The purpose of this study is to propose a plan to strengthen the status of education welfare priority support project by analyzing the actual situation of education welfare priority support project and analyzing the treatment and actual condition of education welfare worker who is a professional manpower to do this. In the past 20 years, the educational welfare priority support project has been accomplished in order to realize educational welfare at the school site. The key factor in the achievement was the role of the education worker, a professional manpower. However, the status of educational welfare workers did not improve significantly at the initial stage, which is limiting the effectiveness of the project. In this study, the present situation of the education welfare priority support project of 17 provinces nationwide and the treatment of education welfare workers were compared and suggested ways to improve it.
