The purpose of this research is to discuss educational values and directions that music educators should pay attention to in the face of various and innovative art developments confronting us in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. To this end, in the light of the key concepts included in Walter Benjamin s discussion, the researcher examines new changes and innovations in the arts. The researcher also discusses what educational values the contemporary music educators need to pursue. In conclusion, it can be said that the educational value, where the music education field needs to consider as an important value in the era of the fourth industrial revolution, is mutual harmony between novelty and familiarity.
