This paper explores digital artworks that were mainly exhibited in the art gallery of GINUSEUM in Gyeongin National University of Education, Korea, and in the Community Media Center in Incheon. Last year, nine renowned artists from Korea participated in a media art exhibition titled Media Sensibilia in GINUSEUM. Consequently, a digital installation from the exhibition was invited to the Community Media Center in Incheon, for the experiential education of the residents. The fundamental purpose of both exhibitions was based on the extending perception of interactivity between digital installations and spectators. The term and techniques of “digital” indicated interactivity as the key characteristic in media exhibitions. Particularly, interactivity in arts requires spectators to transform themselves into performers toward digital installations, whereas computer games order the users to follow a sequential procedure. The new social distancing condition, caused by COVID-19, requires a new method to experience art exhibitions and education programs in museums, galleries, and schools. A proactive research on the relation between digital art and media literacy unveils the interactivity embodying the younger generation engaged in education programs from elementary and secondary school to university students.
