This study explored the concept and subconstruct of digital literacy required for music teachers through related literature survey of digital literacy and investigated strengthening methods through the focus group interview (FGI). As a result, digital literacy for music teachers was determined to be a capability required to conduct music education in a digital environment. Also the technical, educational, social, and ethical aspects were combined altogether and interactions occurred between them, and digital literacy was a practical competency applied in the design, implementation, and reflection stages of actual music classes. In order to strengthen this competency, the teacher must carry out individual and collective efforts. In addition, it was proposed that support is necessary by the school, local office of education, and national government.
