The objective of this study is to phenomenologically investigate the ego states of young men who are experiencing depression and the change in their ego states after experiencing transactional analysis counseling. For this study, transactional analysis counseling was conducted 10 times, once a week from November 2019 to October 2021, targeting 6 participants who were experiencing depression living in the k-city area of Gyeonggi-do. Changes in the participants’ego state were measured through pre/post tests on TACA ego state and life attitude.
