This study selected two elementary school teachers who had experienced from before COVID-19 through the chaotic period to the present, at the time of research in 2022, as research participants, and used narrative materials to find out what their perception of online class has changed As a result, first, the perception of online classes before COVID-19 was recognized as a learning method using an online space or media. Second, in the context of COVID-19, elementary school teachers experienced impulsive changes due to the inevitability of accepting online classes as a teaching method. This part could be specifically classified into three aspects: Designing activities that can clearly follow the learning path in online classes, searching for efficient use of classroom classes by supplementing the limitations of online classes, and problems for students who deviate from the learning path of online classes. Third, compared to before COVID-19, current elementary school teachers had expanded awareness of online classes as one of the teaching methods of classroom instruction. This part could also be classified in two ways: Creating awareness to use online ‘classes’ as teaching methods rather than ‘online’ classes, and provoking concerns about how to apply Edutech suitable for online ‘classes’. Based on the results, the meaning of online classes in the field of elementary education and implications for future education were summarized as suggestions for the study.
