This study was conducted at A elementary school, which is a case of successful schools. The purpose of this study is to clarify the characteristics of shared leadership experienced by A elementary school teachers and to interpret the meaning of shared leadership in school success. It was from 2012 to 2015 that A elementary school, an ordinary school, underwent noticeable change and was recognized as a successful school. The main research data are in - depth interviews with teachers who worked at that time, documents, photos, and images produced at the time. As a result, in A elementary school, students did real study . Teachers grew and the school acted as a true educational community. It was found that there was shared leadership in the background of change and success in A elementary school. A elementary school teachers were practicing to have a common goal , to communicate , to learn , to have a sense of responsibility , and to thank everyone A shared elementary school s shared leadership is composed of sharing plan of problem solving , enhancing contents more than package , linking learning and teaching and administration , small changes becoming lubricant.‘ The researchers analyzed how shared leadership seen in A elementary school could be formed. School factors were consensus empowerment system , peer-conscious principal , intervention teacher , small scale school . Teacher factors were Motivation of good education , Attitude to accept change , Acceptance of differences , and Resolution - oriented dialogue . Shared leadership is leadership that awakens all teachers. It facilitates teacher learning and growth. It also allows the school to focus on the original work. Shared leadership is the driving force for unstoppable school change and the recovery of the teacher s vitality. The researcher suggested practical implications for the success of the school through shared leadership.
