The purpose of this study was to investigate the studies for developing the model of training program of play therapist. This was consisted of four parts. First three parts were investigated about the position of play therapy in clilld psychopathology, the role of play therapist in play sessions, and the newly requested role of play therapist. The role of play therapist in play sessions was investigated how different the role in play therapy theory, the phase of play therapy, and the parent intervention of play therapy. And the new role of play therapist was investigated on the focus of the critical issue of next millenium written by C. Schaefer. And the last part was suggested on the considerations in the play therapy training programs.
