The purpose of the study is to examine what effects the EMDR parent-child play therapy has on improving mother-child attachment and emotion regulation of complex trauma child by parent’s neglect, witness of domestic violence, parents’divorce and body, language, emotion abuse. To this study, children with complex trauma and his mother, 1pairs participated in the program. This program is composed of total 8 sessions, twice a week, 80 minutes per 1 session. To measure pre-post change of mother-child used for structured parent-child interaction scale. also, to measure that of child used for emotion regulation scale of child. As a result, I have concluded as follows: First, the EMDR parent-child play therapy improved mother-child attachment of complex trauma child. Second, the EMDR parent-child play therapy improved the emotion regulation of complex trauma child. Through the results of the research, it is certain that the EMDR parent-child play therapy has a great effectiveness on mother-child attachment and child emotion regulation.
