This study tried to investigate the effects of art activities centered play therapy on the self-conception of school-age children of divorced families targeting school-age families that was reported as the highest ratio of divorced families. This study, as a single case study, conducted art activities centered play therapy program once a week for 50 minutes throughout a total of 12 sessions for four months, and its contents and results were analyzed in-depth quantitatively and qualitatively through the tests of a self-conception and a projected picture. In addition, activities by session were analyzed qualitatively centering on a self-conception. This study reported that art activities centered play therapy has the positive effect on the improvement of a self-conception of school-age children of divorced families.
