The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of sandtray play on self - expression and internalized problem behaviors of children with internalized problems. The subjects were 10 children aged 7 to 8 years old who were referred to the 00 psychological counseling center at D city, the children who had a score of 70T or higher in depression / anxiety, somatic symptoms, withdrawal, and internalization scale of K-CBCL were selected experimental group and the control group were randomly assigned to three patients. A total of 10session sandtray play were conducted for 50 minutes once a week. The results of the study are as follows: First, sandtray play improves self-expression of children. Second, sandtray play reduces children's internalized problem behavior. Third, the frequency of children's internalized problem behavior who appeared in the sandtray play program session reduced.
