본 연구는 제한된 놀이 경험이 있는 장애 아동을 대상으로 놀이 활동을 제공하여 놀이를 지원한 교사와 장애 아동의 놀이성에 어떠한 변화가 있는지 살펴보고 이를 바탕으로 아동기 놀이의 본질적인 속성과 가치를 추구하는 방안을 제시하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 놀이교사가 놀이 활동을 진행하면서 작성한 성찰 로그 기록지를 분석하였다. 연구결과 아동은 놀이에서 주도적 참여, 인지적 융통성, 즐거움의 표현, 자발적 몰입의 긍정적인 변화를 경험하였다. 놀이교사 역시 놀이의 본질을 추구하는 과정에서 성장하였다. 놀이 환경에서의 긍정적인 변화는 놀이공간, 놀이 시간, 놀잇감의 변화와 같이 놀이교사 혼자 할 수 없는 부분으로 인해 변화도가 크지 않았다. 연구결과를 토대로 놀이 활동이 의미 있는 방향으로 발전할 수 있는 생태학적 관점의 놀이 활동을 제안하였다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the changes in the playfulness of play teachers and children with developmental disabilities who supported play by providing play activities for children with limited play experience and to suggest ways to pursue the essential attributes and values of childhood play. For this purpose, the reflection logs written by play teachers while conducting play activities were analyzed. The results showed that children experienced positive changes in leading participation, cognitive flexibility, expression of joy, and voluntary full immersion in play. Play teachers also grew in their pursuit of the essence of the play. The positive changes in the play environment were not significant due to changes in the play space, play time, and play objects that were beyond the control of the play teachers alone. Based on the findings of this study, we propose ecological play activities that can be developed in a meaningful way.
