We live an enriched and convenient life using artificial intelligence, big data, 3D printing, and autonomous vehicles based on the technology industry. With the advancement of technology, virtual reality, augmented reality, and drones have come closer to our everyday life, and with information communication technology added to them, communication with other people has become dramatically convenient. Such a flow of time has also affected the changes in sports, and due to the progress in computers and internet speed, the number of PC rooms has increased, which led to the growth of e-sports. This study aims to analyze relevant newspaper articles based on the big data searched for drone soccer and seek the future direction of national policy and relevant legislation. For the research method, the frequency analysis, network analysis, and related word analysis were performed on the recent four years of data from January 1, 2017, to December 31, 2020, among the data provided by the Bigkinds (www.bigkinds.or.kr), using the Bigkinds analytical program. Based on the derived outcomes, the following results were obtained: As shown in the analysis of the frequency of appearance by year, “Jeonju-si” has been all shown in the past four years during the survey period, and “Goyang”, “COVID-19”, “SW” and “AI” were the point keywords in 2020. In the results of yearly relationship analysis, the keywords of “COVID-19,” “Industrial Revolution,” and “COVID” have recently appeared as the top three keywords in 2020. “Jeonju-si” ranked first in all of the past four years, similar to the analysis of the frequency, and other keywords such as “business group,” “Gyeonggi Goyang-si,” “AI” and “Children” were the keywords within the top five.
