The purpose of physical education and sports courses in university is to grow the students a member of Korean society as an expert in physical education and sports by personally learning physical education, and furthermore, a mature member of society and a student who is studying higher education. As a result, cultivation of each individual s ability to contribute substantially to improving his or her job, the community to which he belongs, and the quality of life of the individual. Therefore, it is a natural logic that a college student majoring in physical education must learn a field of study that can be practically utilized in society in order to become an excellent human resource that contributes to personal maturity and social development after graduating from university. However, the problem is that in order to understand and faithfully comply with the laws of Korea as a physical education major, and to contribute to the development of the law, a full understanding of this must be preceded, and the problem is that the provision of a related knowledge system is not provided at all. This study was to designed based on the awareness that sports law education is urgent, the following purpose of the study. The purpose of this study was to define the concepts based on the current state of physical education and sports education and theories related to liberal class and to propose a policy plan in providing law education in university education in Korea. The results of this study are as follow; First, in the physical education and sports major of universities in Korea, the relationship between sports and law can be defined completely differently. However, considering the development of the sports industry in the modern society, the relationship between sports and law is interdependent. With this reason, the law education against physical education and sports major must be served. Second, based on the defined relationship, within the physical education and general sports majors, introductory law and contract law is evaluated in the learning structure as majors.
