Since 2015, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has directly investigated the contents of the report at the “Sports Corruption Report Center” to take necessary measures, and if it is a daily matter, it has been transferred to the Korea Sports Association for investigation and processing. In addition, a system is operated to prevent neglect or insolvent treatment for a long period of time by reviewing the appropriate treatment by sending the result of the treatment to the reporter and the Sports Corruption Reporting Center. However, it is a reality that major human rights violations such as violence and sexual violence continue to occur in the sports field. In the meantime, the sports world has prepared measures to eradicate the recurrence of sports abuses by revising related laws and improving the system whenever incidents of various corruptions and infringement of sports human rights by sports organizations occur. Despite the full investigation of the Sports Human Rights Special Investigation Team in 2019, a shocking incident occurred in which the national triathlon player chose to commit suicide. The reason for this is that the sports organization confirmed the violation and terminated it, and requested disciplinary action from the sports organization and neglected. Insolvency handling of unfair case management has resulted in the disciplinary system not operating normally. In addition, a report that was omitted from the Sports Fair Committee even gave relief to a leader who had to be disciplined. Eventually, the defect in information sharing led to the inability to implement an effective human rights protection system, and the victims could not be protected. Despite the improvement of laws and systems, the continued occurrence of corruption and corruption can be said to be due to the deep-rooted structural problems of sports organizations. The first reason is the poor operation of the information sharing system for sports organizations. Second, the disciplinary system did not function properly. Third, it is the result of not securing a system for individual defense rights. Therefore, in order to improve the transparency and fairness of sports organizations, it is necessary to review the actual condition survey and audit results of sports organizations, and the information disclosure status of sports organizations, and to expand the scope of information disclosure of sports organizations as an improvement plan. Institutional improvement is required.
