Many of korean elder couples have sexual conflicts in marriage, while they don't want to be known. But sexual conflicts can signify a breakdown of marriage which is a God's community. Some good programs for clinical interventions are needed that will help the Korean elderly couples who are experiencing sexual conflicts to restore their harmonious relationships and to re-conciliate into God's community. From the parable of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18:21-35, I found it to be a forgiveness-reconciliation model for couples in sexual conflicts. A man must forgive in order to be forgiven, which shows that forgiveness should be interpersonal. And also it be a duty for a christian to forgive her/his partner. Understanding the forgiveness-reconciliation model in biblical approach can help Korean elderly couples to improve their quality of life. This also can show the usefulness of clinical interventions for elderly couples who are going through marital and sexual conflicts.
