The present study aimed to describe the possibilities and limitations of a family counseling program in a Christian jail. Researchers developed and performed a Christian family group counseling program based on a chain model which is a eight session(16hours) program hour program with 28 people in a Christian jail. The scores of Family Relations and Optimalization/ Loss-Choice scales were investigated through an independent t-test, and no positive significant changes were observed. Deep survey and interview study was performed about a Christian family group counseling program among program participants, conductors and a Christian jail program director. Based on this qualitative study, possibilities and limitations of Christian jail family group counseling program was discussed.
