In this sense, the emotion of guilt is enacted by the motion of faith. Therefore, the emotion of guilt is psycho-spiritual. Both theology and psychology agree that the emotion of guilt is related to a psychological trait of perfection. From the theological perspective, the emotion of guilt comes out of the perfectionistic tendency which is originated from the image of God. From the psychological perspective, the emotion of guilt comes out of the psychological traits of superego, ideal self, and self actualization.
