The purpose of this study is to explore the client’s experience of effective elements in christian counseling. For this purpose, depth interview was performed with 8 clients who received christian counseling and was analyzed by using Inductive Analysis, 33 themes, 17 subcategories and 5categories were emerged. The effective counseling elements were as follows: (1) counselor’s element is consisted of attitude, expertise and spirituality (2) client’s element is consisted of the client expectation from the counselor, counseling motivation, counseling readiness (3) faith element is consisted of the intervention of God, change of faith, spiritual approach in the client’s problem and spiritual acceptance (4) counseling program element is composed of facilitation of counseling, support for counseling, substitution for counseling, (5) external element is composed of confidentiality, fees,acquaintance, counseling center.
