The purpose of this study was to find out how the image of God influences on the Christian young adults’ self-esteem, spiritual maturity, and interpersonal relations. Structural equation modeling was adopted for analysis, designating God’s image as an independent variable, self-esteem and spiritual maturity as intervening variables, and interpersonal relationship as a dependent variable. The results are as follows: First, God’s image has a direct influence in self-esteem and spiritual maturity of young adults. Those who have a good image of God have high self-esteem and spiritual maturity while those who have a bad or ambiguous image of God have low self-esteem. Seond, self-esteem and spiritual maturity are significantly positive on the interpersonal relationship. If one has a high self-esteem and spiritual maturity, he has a healthy interpersonal relationship. Third, the image of God has an influence on interpersonal relationship through self-esteem and spiritual maturity. Although the image of God does not have direct influences on interpersonal relationship, it has a significant influences through self-esteem and spiritual maturity as intervening variables.
