본 연구의 목적은 기독교를 신앙으로 가진 60세 이상 노인을 대상으로 노인의 종교정향성과 삶의 태도 및 자살생각에 대한 경로분석에 대해 연구함으로써 종교정향성이 삶의 태도에 영향을 어떻게 미치는지를 살펴보고 그 삶의 태도가 자살생각에미치는 영향의 경로를 탐색하여 종교정향성이 자살생각에 미치는 영향을 알아보는것이다. 자살생각을 가진 노인에게 종교정향성을 자원으로 기독교상담적 접근을위한 기초자료를 제공하는 데에 목적이 있다. 연구의 결과는 노인들이 삶의 태도에서 부정적인 태도를 갖는 것은 자살생각과 높은 상관관계를 갖기 때문에 자살의 가능성도 높다는 결과를 나타낸다. 그러므로 노인들에게는 삶의 태도에 긍정적인 태도를 갖도록 하는 것은 자살에 대한 생각 또는 자살시도를 막을 수 있는 중요한 요인이 될 수 있다고 본다. 본 연구가 갖는 의의는 종교정향성 여섯 가지가 삶의 태도를 통해 자살생각에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석함으로써 종교정향성의 실질적으로 자살생각에 영향을 미치는지에 대한 검증을 했다는 것과 종교정향성과 삶의태도와 자살생각의 관계에 대한 실증을 함으로써 기독교상담적 접근을 위한 기초자료를 제공한 데 있다. 그리고 종교정향성의 분류에 대한 실효성과 정교정향성의변화과정과 요인에 대한 후속 연구의 필요성을 시사한다.
The purpose of this study is to explore religious orientation which influence to life attitude and affect to suicidal ideation by path analysis. Understanding the influence between religious orientation and suicidal ideation would get by observing the way of religious orientation to life attitude and the impact of life attitude to the suicidal ideation. Research has shown that negative life attitude in elderly have high correlation with suicidal ideation and high possible to suicidal attempts. Therefore, making elderly as positive as their life attitude is a key predictor to prevent elderly suicide. Importance of research focused to verify interactive effect in 6difference religious orientation , life attitude and suicidal ideation in the case study which uses to christianity counselling references.
