The purpose of this study was to explore the role conflict of assistant pastor’s wives in church. To make a study of the role conflict of assistant pastor’s wives was based on the in-depth interviews. First, the assistant pastor’s wives had a role conflict personally. They were experiencing the chaos of identity after marriage. And in the future they are going to have an exclusive ministry but they are not prepared for the future ministry. Second, the role conflict in the home is about the priority that husbands choose. Many of them give a priority to church ministries. The assistant pastor’s wives come into conflict because of their husbands. And they had a conflict because of their children’s suffers in church. Besides, they bore the burden of doing well in all territories. Third, the role conflict in church was to feel distant between the goal as a pastor’s wife and the current state of their own. Also they bore the burden of the expectations that senior pastor and his wife had. In conclusion, there are three role conflicts as assistant pastor’s wives. These are personal role conflict and role conflict in home and in church. And it is hoped that many programs to solve role conflicts as assistant pastor’s wives will be made.
