This study aims to identify the relationships between attachment to parents, God’s image, and resilience among Christian ACOA(Adult children of alcoholics). Data were collected for 415 Christian college students at three churches in Gyeonggi-do and one university in Seoul. The results of this study through analysis of variance, regression analysis, and correlation analysis were as follows. Firstly, ACOA group showed lower significance for attachment to parents than Non-ACOA group. Secondly, Compared to Non-ACOA group, ACOA group had statistically significantly low in ‘acceptance’, among sub-variables of God’s image. Thirdly, there was no significant difference in resilience between ACOA group and Non-ACOA group. Fourthly, there were differences in the subvariables of God’s image affecting ACOA and Non-ACOA; Among the Images of God, ‘Influence’, ‘Challenge’, and ‘Providence’affected ACOA group while ‘Influence’and ‘Compassion’affected Non-ACOA group. The results of this study suggest God’s image is an important factor for Christian college students, especially ACOA’s adjustment. And it is expected that this results can be applied to case conceptualization and developing counseling strategies for Christian college students who are raised under alcoholic parents.
