The study is conducted in order to examine the influences of stress coping style and interpersonal relationship of Christian university students on internet addiction. For this purpose, we collected 859 samples, who were the students of the H University in Korea. The results are as follows: First, as to the internet addiction level regarding gender difference, the male students’ addiction level was significantly higher than female students’ addiction level. Second, according to the internet using purposes, the group of people who use internet for the information search shows higher level of internet addiction than the group of people who use the internet for on–line gaming. Third, regarding the stress coping style, active coping style has no significant relationship with internet addiction while the passive coping style has significant relationship with internet addiction. Fourth, for the interpersonal relationship ability, it has the significant relationship with internet addiction. Fifth, among the stress coping styles, passive coping style negatively affects the interpersonal relationship satisfaction and ability, which triggers internet addiction.
