본 연구는 인형심리진단평가에 나타난 가톨릭 수도자의 자기인식과 타인인식 그리고 관계의 상징체계 분석을 통해 수도자들의 경험의 본질과 이와 관련된 상징적 의미를 살펴보고, 가톨릭 수도자의 특성을 파악하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 인형심리진 단평가 매뉴얼의 분석 방법에 따라 자료를 분석하였으며, 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 가톨릭 수도자의 동물 인형 선택에서 나타난 자기 및 타인 인식 차원 중 자기인식에서 독립, 방어/생존의 동물 상징체계로 나타났다. 타인인식은 수 1과 수 2의 상징체계로 나타났다. 수 1은 안전과 안전감, 새로운 시작에 대한 통합을 의미하며, 수 2는 에너지의 균형과 조화를 이루고자 하는 것을 의미한다. 또한 가톨릭 수도자의 관계 차원을 살펴보면 균형형, 목적지향형, 회피형의 세 가지 유형의 관계구조로 나타났다. 본 연구는 인형심리진단평가를 통하여 가톨릭 수도자의 인식 및 관계의 특성을 알아봄으로써 가톨릭 수도자에 대한 이해를 제공했을 뿐 아니라 가톨릭수도자에 대한 중재적 차원의 효과적인 개입에 유용한 정보를 제공했다는 점에 의의가 있다고 본다.
The purpose of this study is to investigate symbol structures of self–awareness, other–awareness, and relation of catholic religious, and therefore, to understand core of their experience and its symbolic meanings through psychological diagnostic assessment using figures. The study was analyzed based on the analysis method of figure–using assessment manual and the results were as follows. In relation to the self–awareness level shown on animal figures, they represented independence, defense/survival. Other–awareness, which was shown on number 1 symbol structures, represents safety, sense of security, and the integration towards positive hope. Number 2 represents balance and harmony in the energy. Additionally, the relation pattern of catholic religious was proved to be balanced, purpose–oriented, and avoidant. This study provides valuable information for efficient intervention to catholic religious by understanding their awareness level and relation pattern by figure–using diagnostic assessment.
