본 연구는 Ann Ulanov의 기독(목회)상담 방법론을 Paul Tillich의 상관관계 방법론과 C. G. Jung의 분석심리학을 통해서 고찰한다. Ann Ulanov는 분석심리학과 종교의 대화를 통해서 인간 정신의 실재를 깊게 논의하고 있다. 동시에 정신과 영혼의 상관관계를 통해서 종교를 이해하고 있으며, 기독(목회)상담의 정체성과 방향을 논의하고 있다. Ann Ulanov는 꿈과 불안 등의 정신현상에 관심을 갖는 가운데, 종교와 무의식의 상관적인 대화를 통해서 기독(목회)상담의 새로운 방향을 제시하고 있다.
The purpose of this study is to explain Ann Ulanov’s method of Christio pastoral counseling through Paul Tillich’s correlational method and Jung’s analytical psychology. Ann Ulanov focuses on the human psyche’s existence through the conversation between depth psychology and religion. At the same time, Ann Ulanov discusses the identity and direction of Christo pastoral counseling, understanding religion in terms of correlation between psyche and soul. Ann Ulanov shows us new direction of Christo pastoral counseling in relation with correlation of religion and unconsciousness, concentrating on the psychic phenomenon such dream and anxiety.
