본 연구는 중등학교 가창 수업에서 과학기술과 교육을 통합하는 에듀테크의 활용 가능성을 탐구하고자, 플립드 러닝 기반의 에듀테크 활용 교수설계를 제시하였다. 디지털 매체로는 ‘Riyaz’, ‘Sing Sharp’, ‘7 Minute Vocal Warm Up’ 애플리케이션을 활용하였고 발성, 호흡 연습을 비롯한 제재곡 가창과 스마트 보컬 모니터 녹화 및 발표활동을 구성하였다. 연구 결과, 에듀테크의 활용은 가창 능력 신장이라는 기본적인 목표 달성뿐 아니라 자기 주도성과 소통 능력을 기르고 안정적인 정서 함양을 촉진할 수 있는 충분한 교육적 가치가 있음을 확인하였다. 아울러 중등학교 시기 가창 활동에 소극적이거나 불안감을 가진 학생들의 참여를 높이고 전통적인 가창 교육의 한계를 극복할 수 있는 방안으로서 의의가 있음을 검토하였다. 연구 결과에 따른 제언점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 에듀테크활용을 위해 교사는 테크놀로지 운용 능력을 기르고, 각종 변화에 유연하게 대처해야 한다. 둘째, 학습자에게 매체사용법을 명확하게 제시하여 동기 유발 단계에서부터 본격적인 활동을 연계시켜야 한다. 셋째, 디지털 매체 활용을 통해 가창 활동을 생활화하도록 하며 일회성 수업에 그치지 않도록 유의해야 한다. 넷째, 디지털 대전환 시대에 부합하는 가창 수업을 위해 교수 학습 전반에 걸친 평가와 성찰 및 개선이 지속되어야 한다.
This study explored the potential of integrating educational technology (EdTech) into secondary school singing classes by proposing a flipped learning-based instructional design. Digital tools such as ‘Riyaz,’ ‘Sing Sharp,’ and ‘7 Minute Vocal Warm Up’ were utilized to structure activities like vocalization, breathing exercises, singing of prescribed songs, and recording with a smart vocal monitor. The study found that the use of EdTech not only achieved the primary goal of improving singing abilities but also provided substantial educational value by fostering self-directed learning, enhancing communication skills, and promoting emotional stability. Furthermore, it was found to be an effective method to increase participation among students who are typically passive or anxious about singing activities and to overcome the limitations of traditional singing education. Recommendations based on the findings include: teachers should develop their technology management skills and adapt to changes; learners should be clearly guided on using the media, linking motivation with main activities; singing should be integrated into daily life rather than limited to single classes; and continuous evaluation, reflection, and improvement in teaching practices should be pursued to ensure alignment with the digital era.
