데이터 기반 기술혁신을 바탕으로 변화가 가속화되는 디지털 대전환 시대에 있어 교육은 변화를 주도하고 가치를 창출하는 핵심 동력으로서 중요 역할을 한다. 2022 개정 교육과정에서도 혁신적인 초·중등교육으로서 디지털 리터러시와 AI·SW교육을 강조하는 한편 학생 개개인의 특성과 진로에 적합한 학습을 지원하는 맞춤형 교육을 강조하고 있다. 디지털 기초 소양에 대한 강조는 미래사회 인재 육성을 위한 중요 방안이나, 이에 상응하는 사회 정서적 지원이 결여될 경우 교육의 본질적 목표 달성이 어려울 수 있기에 기술 발전과의 상호작용을 중시한 하이터치-하이테크(HTHT) 교육이 주목받고 있다. 한편 사회적 위기 속에서 문제 행동에 대한 교육적 대안으로 등장한 CASEL의 사회정서학습(SEL)은 전인적 발달을 목적으로 다양하게 적용되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 디지털 대전환 시대 맞춤형 하이터치 교육으로서 미술과에서 적용가능한 SEL(A-SEL)을 제안하였으며, 이를 통해 학생들의 인성을 포함한 사회 정서적 웰빙을 지원하는 맞춤형 교육으로서의 가능성을 가늠해 보고자 한다.
In the era of grand digital transformation, where changes werer accelerating based on data-driven technological innovation, education played an important role as a core driving force that leads change and creates value. The 2022 rev. Korean National Curriculum(MoE, 2022b) emphasized digital literacy and AI·SW education as innovations in school education, while also emphasizing customized education that supports learning suited to each student’s characteristics and career. The emphasis on basic digital literacy was clearly an important measure for fostering future society talent, but if the corresponding social and emotional support was lacking, it may be difficult to achieve the essential goal of education, so it can be seen that HTHT education that emphasized interaction with technological development was considered. CASEL’s SEL, which emerged as an educational alternative to problem behaviors in the midst of a social crisis, was being applied in various ways for the purpose of pursuing holistic development. Thus, this study proposed ‘A-SEL’ applicable to art departments as customized high-touch education in the era of digital transformation, and aims to assess its potential as customized education that supports students’ socio-emotional well-being, including their character.
