Objective: The purpose of this study was to develop a psychological support program for strengthening SW learning motivation by solving SW psychological barriers and enhancing the SW efficacy of SW non-majors.
Methods: The subjects of this study were 20 first-year students in Gyeonggi-do. For the research method, the literature review and Focus Group Interview (FGI) were conducted with SW non-major college students, and based on the results, a customized SW learning motivation strengthening psychological support program for SW non-major students was developed and verified.
Results: As a result of the analysis, digital emotion, which is a negative emotion that is a psychological barrier to SW learning of SW non-majors participating in the SW learning motivation strengthening psychological support program, was reduced, digital communication and collaboration capacity and digital efficacy were improved.
Conclusions: Based on the results of this study, the implications for the systematization of SW non-major basic education for the enhancement of digital literacy for all students, the support system for strengthening multidimensional SW learning motivation, and the improvement of SW convergence curriculum were suggested.
